BALCO Medical Centre has been informed, that in the recent past some individuals and recruitment agencies have tried to mislead the public by fictitiously claiming to be employees of BALCO Medical Centre or posing as authorized recruitment agencies of BALCO Medical Centre. We at BALCO Medical Centre, follow a formal meritocratic recruitment process through our HR department and do not ask for any security deposit or fees (refundable or non-refundable) at any stage of the recruitment process. We, therefore, appeal to the public to not respond to any such emails or job offers.
How to protect yourself from a recruitment fraud? Here are a few steps to follow:
1. Any job offer that requires you to pay a fee in advance or for a completed process is probably a scam. No money transfers, payments or security deposits of any kind will ever be requested from applicants by BALCO Medical Centre or any of the agencies that recruit on our behalf, at any point in the recruitment process.
2. Legitimate job-related emails will come from corporate email accounts with the domain, e.g. @vedanta.co.in. Any recruiter or company that corresponds from a free email account such as Yahoo, Live, Hotmail or Gmail is very likely a scammer. Sometimes scammers also use software to generate fake email ids and fake company letterheads to make it appear genuine, and hence you must exercise caution for any job offers you receive.
3. Scammers often use fake URLs to mask themselves as large, well-known corporates. Double-check the URL or the web address of the company.
4. Please note that BALCO Medical Centre shall not be liable for any loss or damage that may be suffered or incurred directly or indirectly through correspondence with fraudulent individuals or recruitment agencies and that such communication should not be treated as an offer or representation from BALCO Medical Centre.
