The fourth annual Choosing Wisely Meeting, in collaboration with ecancer, Tata Memorial Centre, Mumbai, BALCO Medical Centre, Raipur, and the National Cancer Grid, took place on November 1st, 2023, at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. This year's theme, "Common Sense in Oncology," emphasised a patient-focused approach to cancer care that prioritised evidence, values, sustainability, and financial viability. The agenda of the meeting focused on key topics such as setting research priorities right, Universal Health Coverage (UHC) in India, patient advocacy, evidence generation, interpretation, and communication.
