The 2nd edition of the BMC Chhattisgarh Cancer Conclave was held from 20 to 22 September 2024 at the picturesque premises of the Mayfair Lake Resort in Naya Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The theme "Choosing Wisely 2024 – Common Sense Oncology for Outcomes that Matter" aimed to address critical issues in cancer care, focusing on accessibility and quality of care.The conclave coincided with the fifth annual Choosing Wisely meeting in India, held in collaboration with ecancer, Tata Memorial Centre, Mumbai, and the National Cancer Grid. With six internationally renowned faculty members from London, Canada, New Zealand, Israel, USA, and Spain, along with leading oncologists from top cancer institutes in India, the Conclave provided an invaluable platform for knowledge sharing, brainstorming, and networking.
